  Gallant Computer's AudioStorm PST

Haven't you always wanted a surround sound system for your console system?  I remember back in the day when the Super Nintendo came with stereo RCA jacks, I wanted to hook them up to get Stereo sound (which by today's standard is garbage), but I didn't have a TV or Receiver to hook it up to, so I was stuck with monaural. Now that game consoles are becoming more sophisticated and audio is just as important to the game as graphics and gameplay, having a good sound system is essential.

Gallant Computer is a prominent company for their digital audio hardware for the PC and consumer game industries.  Their mission is to provide innovative, practical, affordable and top-quality products that enhance the computing and electronic entertainment experience for consumers.

Game and movie enthusiasts who yearn for both Dolby Digital 5.1 and revolutionary multi-channel audio for their gaming consoles such as the Playstation 2 or Nintendo 64, or even their home theatre systems may now have a viable single solution.  That system we’re talking about is the Gallant Computer AudioStorm PST.

The AudioStorm PST consists of a high output powered subwoofer, five satellite speakers, infrared remote control, and a master station which includes a massive 100Watt Power Amplifier, Dolby Digital Decoder and many inputs. The satellites are small enough and stylish enough to not interfere with the decor of your living room or bedroom, but still have enough power to deliver loud and clear audio. If this can’t deliver the complete audio solution for gamers, then nothing will.

Once we get our hands on this system, we’ll put them to the test and see if they are worthy of the Hardware Pros editor’s choice.

Here is a complete list of specifications taken from Gallant Computer's Web Site.
